CLEANING WATER BODIES
Rejuvenating Life organizes and executes effective lake cleanup programs in and around Pondicherry. Under this program the organization adopts a beach, lake, pond or any water body on a voluntary basis. The water body or beach with its periphery are cleaned, strengthened & restored to its original capacity & beauty. The cleaning process involves a massive removal of physical garbage from the premises. For the beaches repeated nature walks and awareness drives will be organized to ensure cleaner environments. If you are worried about a beach, lake, pond or river in your neighborhood, we together can restore the lake to its true natural beauty.
VolunteerPLANTING TREES
Trees are depleting im huge numbers and the future of the planet is at stake. Urbanization has created an imbalance in the environment. And we as society are responsible for it. Sustainability has become order of the day! To make up for the damage that is already done, Rejuvenating Life ensures that trees are planted everywhere. Rejuvenating Life initiates plantation with farmers to support them with sustainable income. Farmers have been affected with the recurring droughts and uneven rain fall. Due to these odd scenario and the global climate changes, the farmers are facing lot of issues. And if this worsens then situation will be out of control.
It is now agricultural dilemma. The farmers cannot stop the agriculture nor accept the losses caused by the recurring failures. To bring back the lost greenery we have been doing tree plantation in cities. But now we realize that by planting the same trees in villages, we can help the farmers have a sustainable income. Rejuvenating Life shall plant fruit bearing saplings with farmers and these trees will help them to have a parallel income.

AVOIDING PLASTIC BAGS
Plastic bags end up as litter that fouls the landscape, and kill thousands of marinemammals every year that mistake the floating bags for food. Plastic bags that get buried in landfills may take up to 1,000 years to break down, and in the process they separate into smaller and smaller toxic particles that contaminate soil and water. Furthermore, the production of plastic bags consume millions of gallons of oil that could be used for fuel and heating. Awareness regarding menace created by littering of plastic bags, for use o alternate to plastic bags, like jute bags, cloth bags/paper bags is being carried out.

POND CLEANING SARAM POND
We all care about the environment; we wait for the suitable platform. Here is an opportunity that we got to do something for our society. Clean pond water and lake water can be good sources of drinking water for a community. With good planning, adequate supplies of water will be available for community consumption throughout the year.
